Called a “strong and impressively tart new album” by New York Times, Say What You Mean tugs earnestly at the heartstrings of listeners with its passionate tales of loss and love.  The album, produced by Chris Kuffner at Sideways House in Brooklyn, features ten incredible tracks the showcase Weiss’ brilliant songwriting and style which fuses upbeat pop and heartfelt indie rock for one of the year’s best listens.

The album kicks things off with its first single, “Making It Up,” a rollicking pop anthem that “begins with chugging electric guitar, reminiscent of the Strokes while Weiss’ voice sounds like the female answer to Ben Gibbard” (Spinner.com).

Say What You Mean continues through peaks and valleys of love and loneliness balancing high energy with sincere balladry, like on the newly released track “Nothing Left.”

“I was in this place emotionally where I had so much to say but no idea where to start,” Weiss tells Purevolume.com. “When "Nothing Left" happened it felt like my thesis statement for the rest of the record.  I finished it the night before we were supposed to record.”

Rounding out Say What You Mean with tracks like “How To Be Alone,” “Don’t Go,” and “I’ll Be Okay” Weiss takes listeners on one of the most honest musical journeys you’ll hear this year; the ups and downs of a twenty-something, figuring out her place in life and the trials and tribulations of learning as she goes.

Weiss will kick off a tour with Candy Hearts in March leading up to the tour with additional touring around the upcoming album’s release to be announced soon.
