In recent years, it feels like the summer festival circuit has only grown more and more oversaturated with carbon copies capable of merely regurgitating the lineups of their competitors. While that is likely "safe" from a fiscal standpoint, FYF Fest has stood apart from the vast majority in its 12 years of existence, due in part to its refined lineups that highlight the actual highlights of indie music. This year's festival is sure to be no exception, with notable slots from legends such as Morrissey and The Jesus & Mary Chain, alongside artists who have put out some of the best music of 2015, like Title Fight (Hyperview) and Lower Dens (Escape from Evil).

FYF Festival takes place this weekend (August 22+23) in Los Angeles at the L.A. Memorial Sports Arena and Exposition Park. Weekend passes are still available, and the schedule was released today, which can be viewed below. We've also heard that Donut Friend will be there, if there wasn't already reason enough to attend.
